Fergus has written for a variety of newspapers including The Sun, The News of the World, The Herald and Sunday Herald and Scotland on Sunday. He was ‘Consumer Champion’ on Woman’s Own magazine for 5 years and his dedication and in-depth understanding of consumer rights helped hundreds of women to resolve difficult money and consumer problems.

He is able to write confidently and in an easy-to-understand manner on a wide range of consumer and money issues.

He has written a series of money booklets for One Parent Families and contributed content for Royal Bank of Scotland Money Sense website as well as their Teachers Guide to Finance booklets.

He currently writes the Money Doctor pages for the Daily Record in Scotland and is the founder of popular money and consumer website Moneysucks?

Away from money, Fergus had his first book published in 2013, by Cargo Publishing in Glasgow. A Piper’s Tale is a wonderful collection of stories from some of the world’s top pipers. All of the contributors opened up to Fergus and their stories reveal degrees of warmth, humour and experience that any young musician striving to make a name for him or herself would benefit from reading.
