Broadcasting
Fergus was a regular on the sofa in the early days of GMTV and has featured in a number of popular TV programmes including Location, Location Location, Watchdog and Dispatches. He appears regularly on a variety of BBC Scotland shows, both on TV and on radio. He presented a documentary for BBC Scotland in October 2016 exposing problems in the timeshare re-sale industry.
He delivers his advice on air in an imaginative, clear, and easy to understand manner that cuts across all of the jargon and muddle often associated with the financial world. He has a no nonsense approach to helping consumers stand up to the poor service culture that exists across much of the UK today.
He is comfortable answering questions on any aspects of money or consumer rights. Whether you are looking for a quick opinion on any money or consumer issue, a contributor on a regular money or consumer slot, or a co-presenter for a money or consumer show then Fergus will be happy to help. His writing experience means that he is used to writing his own copy in preparation for interviews and he is used to working to tight deadlines for live shows.
