Fergus is an accomplished piper either on his own or with his ceilidh-band and has been a great ambassador for his music all over the world.

He learned his piping as he grew up in Cumbernauld and travelled to his first festival in Belgium at the age of 14 with Cumbernauld Caledonia Pipe Band. Since then he has played the pipes all over the world, including a tour of the Dominican Republic, a Festival in Tokyo with the Mick West Band and several appearances at the world famous Festival Interceltique de Lorient in Brittany with Molendinar.

He is well known on the Burns Supper circuit both as a musician and a speaker, and he is regularly asked to play at weddings all over Europe, particularly in Spain and Italy.
